60 Portrait Challenge in Process



Sixty Portrait Challenge For Speed

As I progressed, I found ego dictated that I continued on to a better likeness and stop under 6 hours. I could see improvement in development, but not speed in the beginning. I became more relaxed during the first 2 hours than in my frantic first attempt. My self-challenge is to be able to do a decent job demonstrating in from of an audience. 

Portrait #1:   "Diego", Oil on Canvas, 8"x10", 2 hours 10 minutes

Portrait #2: "Jacqueline Crawley", 2 hours
Portrait #2: "Jacqueline" at 3 hours, 17 minutes.

Portrait #3: "Kala",  2 hours. Black and white reference turned into a color portrait.


Portrait # 4: "Lucy Marie", 8"x10" oil on canvas. 2 hours. 45 minutes for mouth and teeth.


Portrait # 5: "Donna Charbonneaux Wilheim", 8"x10" oil on canvas. 2 hours.


Portrait # 6: "Julie Evans'' 8x10 Oil on Canvas - 6 hours  She gave me trouble.
